Start is on Friday July 10th, 8:45 o’clock at the border of The Netherlands and Germany. Passing the Aachen market around 9 o’clock I will be heading via Düren, Bonn direction east leaving Northrine-Westfalia entering the state of Hessen.

Riding through Herborn I plan to arrive in Bad Hersfeld still during daylight. Just a bit east of Herborn I will cross the border from Hessen to Thüringen. One of the  highlights I will only see illuminated (I hope), the Wartburg in Eisenach. Then the journey continues via Erfurt to Zeitz in Saxony-Anhalt (should be daylight then again). Entering Saxony a bit later I will ride north of Dresden towards Bautzen until finally arriving in Görlitz at the border to Poland. After having an alcohol free Beer on  Marienplatz in Görlitz, I will end the tour at the Neiße river (border to Poland).
